amaran Cam 4K Webcam with Mic & Verge Max LED Light Kit (Charcoal)

Overview

The amaran Cam 4K Webcam with Mic & Verge Max LED Light Kit (Charcoal) gathers a complete desk streaming setup from the amaran range: a 4K webcam, a dynamic USB microphone and a round bi-colour LED panel, in one order. It is made for streamers, presenters, podcasters and anyone who wants to look and sound good on calls and recordings without piecing a setup together from different brands.

The webcam records 4K at up to 60 fps and can read the exposure on your face to adjust compatible amaran lights. The microphone connects by USB-C or wirelessly through its included receiver, with noise reduction built in, and the thin Verge Max panel gives soft, flicker-free light from a clamp stand that fits on the desk. Below we cover each of the three products in turn.

amaran Cam 4K Webcam

A 1/1.3" sensor with an f/1.68 aperture and an 85° diagonal view gives a clear picture in a range of rooms, and 4K at up to 60 fps keeps movement smooth. Autofocus is fast, there is 2x optical zoom for close-ups plus 4x digital, and the Auto-Lighting feature adjusts compatible amaran lights to the exposure on your face. A magnetic clip lets you switch between landscape and portrait framing, the built-in omnidirectional microphone picks up your voice, and a privacy shutter covers the lens when you are not on camera.

• Works with Windows 10 or later and macOS 13 or later through its USB-C cable and USB-A adapter
• Magnetic mount sits on a monitor or a tripod, and the cable is 1.5 m long
• Up to four webcams can run in one system and be switched in the amaran Desktop App
• Works with Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Google Meet and Slack

amaran Mic Wireless Dynamic Supercardioid Microphone

A 30mm dynamic capsule with a supercardioid pattern keeps your voice at the front and the room behind it quiet, and handles levels up to 130 dB before clipping. Standard noise reduction deals with fan noise and mains hum, while the AI mode goes further on keyboard clicks and traffic. You can plug in over USB-C for plug-and-play recording, or go wireless over 2.4 GHz, up to 50 m, through the included receiver, with up to 60 hours from the built-in rechargeable battery.

• Gain, mute, noise-reduction mode and battery check sit on the microphone itself
• 3.5mm headphone output for direct monitoring without delay
• 24-bit / 48 kHz capture with the amaran Desktop App for EQ, noise gate, limiter and voice modes
• Comes with its own desktop stand, ready to use on a desk

amaran Verge Max Bi-Colour Round LED Light Panel

The Verge Max is a thin, round edge-lit panel measuring 62 x 59.9 cm that gives soft, even light, with 1955 lux at 1 m (5600K) and a colour temperature of 2700 to 6500K. A CRI of 96 and a TLCI of 98 keep skin tones natural, and the fanless passive cooling makes it silent while you record. The included desk clamp stand holds it behind a monitor or overhead, and it runs from the supplied 65 W USB-C PD power adapter.

• Dimming from 0 to 100% from the front-facing controls or the amaran app over Bluetooth
• Seven built-in effects, including fireworks, lightning, TV, strobe and fire
• Flicker-free and glare-free, with RG0 certified eye safety from the edge-lit design
• Verge Lock system takes the separately sold stand adapter and control grid

Additional Benefits

• Each product also works on its own, so the kit suits a desk that grows over time, with more amaran lights or a second webcam added later.
